Here is the beginning of behind the scene tales on my stash of Disney and Star Wars clothing. Most people would probably think I have a problem. (I don’t have a problem! You don’t know me! You don’t know what I had for breakfast!) In reality, I feel better when I see the amounts of what other people have. The thing is, I remember every story behind each piece of clothing that I have purchased that is Disney/Star Wars related. And unlike other fashion bloggers who beautifully pull their outfits together, sadly I do not. And it’s ok because I still find it entertaining.
Well today’s tale is my Baymax dress and Mickey Beanie.
I’m not good at posing myself. This is the “I’m trying to look cool, but really I’m awkward and SQUIRREL!”
So first I will start off with my beanie which you can’t see very well in this [picture, but you will see soon. I first saw Traci Hines wearing one and since I’m a huge Mickey fan, (You will soon learn that really I am a fan of everything, but Mickey is one that I am a sucker for.) and realized that I must have one. I found it on Whosits and Whatsits and instantly ordered it. (Unfortunately they don’t have it anymore.) Obviously I can’t pull it off like Traci can. Here she is wearing it:
Am I wearing this right?
Next is my dress that I purchased from Hot Topic and yes this is still available. Unless you are reading this in the year of 2035. You missed out. Sorry. I’m pretty impressed with this dress and it’s really hard for me to be impressed with dresses because I am a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. But seriously look at this print!
I LOVE Baymax. Big Hero 6 made me ugly sob like a child and I guess I like wearing clothing that reminds me of my ugly sobs from it, but he was too cute to pass up. When I saw him, it was getting near Christmas time and I had to think of a reason on why I needed him just as much as he needed me. Then a light bulb went off. My 3 year old can give this to me for Christmas! It made perfect sense as he loved Baymax just as much as I did. I dreamed of the times that I would be wearing this magnificent dress and he would come up to me hugging and squealing with delight because I was wearing his favorite character. And because of this dress, it would keep him on his best behavior and it would somehow give him magical powers to defy the laws of a 3 year old and give mom the break she needed.
None of this happened.
Except for the part where I bought the dress and said that it was from my 3 year old. That did happen.
I do have to say that it is stretchy and perfect for Thanksgiving dinners so you don’t have to worry about unbuttoning your pants from eating too much turkey. I highly recommend this dress.
Oh and remember these??
The giveaway is still going on and there are only 2 1/2 weeks left to enter! Go here to get your entries in before it’s too late. I have some amazing giveaways planned once I hit 10,000 followers and even have something incredible once I hit 20,000! (I honestly don’t know if I will ever get there, but if I do, it’s going to be pretty big so keep reading.) 🙂
Stay tuned for future tales of my stash. Honestly, I could probably have a mini museum with my collectibles which I will show you and will eventually need an intervention.
Have a good night everyone!
